Cambodia and Vietnam make a great combination, if you ask us. The two countries have a lot in common but they also each offer something different. Both have a turbulent past, some of which is still visible at the Killing Fields in Cambodia or the Cu Chi Tunnels in Vietnam. Vietnam has some fantastic nature in Sapa, Halong Bay and the Mekong Delta, while Cambodia is home to what may be the world’s most famous cultural heritage; the temples of Angkor Wat.

Cambodia online allows you to combine Cambodia and Vietnam using the following short tours, or modules. Modules are short, individual travel experiences lasting 2-3 days. By combining these Cambodia and Vietnam modules you can build your own personalised itinerary. The modules below start in Vietnam and are suitable to add on to the beginning of your Cambodia trip.

Short Cambodia and Vietnam tour

Along the Mekong to Cambodia

Duration:	3 days / 2 nights

Offered:	Every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday from HCMC, arrival Phnom Penh (can also be done in reverse)

This is an ideal module which will allow you to combine Cambodia and Vietnam. During this three-day trip you'll travel by boat from Ho Chi Minh City through a very special part of the Mekong Delta and on to to Phnom Penh in Cambodia. Your boating adventure will take you through remote areas of the Delta and you'll pass through some of the most exotic natural settings imaginable. Expect to see an abundance of tropical birds and to taste the sweetest, most colourful tropical fruits. Your accommodation during this trip will be comfortable, centrally located hotels in Chau Doc and Cantho. Across the border you'll travel by speedboat to Pnhom Penh. This South Vietnam travel module will suit those wishing to see Ho Chi Minh City (formally know as Saigon) at their own pace. You will be collected from the arrival hall at the airport and transferred to your pre-booked accommodation for two nights. We have a choice of hotel standards to suit everyones budget, from comfortable central hotels, to old colonial masterpieces, all within the heart of Ho Chi Minh City. The rooms are spacious and breakfast is included. With this Starter Pack, you can spend the first couple of days recovering from your journey and exploring the city by foot, cyclo or taxi.

Hill tribes of Sapa

In the far north of Vietnam, you'll find an untouched wilderness which is home to several fascinating hill tribes. Their villages nestle in a remote mountainous area with breathtaking views. Prepare to be amazed by the colourful traditional markets and meet the people whose ancestors fled into the mountains from far-flung Asian countries. You'll take an overnight sleeper train from Hanoi up to the northern city of Sapa. Then, from Sapa, you'll set out on several excursions and short hikes. Hoi An is a city bursting at the seams with atmosphere, history - and tailors. Wander through the narrow streets of the sleepy town, enjoy some delicious food at the old port or relax on the sparkling white sands of the nearby beach. During this module, you'll visit My Son, a historic site with well-preserved ancient temples, despite severe bombings during the dark past of Vietnam. There's also plenty of time to be measured up for a suit by a friendly local tailor or buy an original painting from an art gallery in the town.
